Now these social recognition awards are uplifting. They’re a little piece of happiness bundled up in a heart-covered package.
I’ve grown to love the community here in the bogging world, though I’ve never considered myself a member. You are all so supportive and kind to each other- and that is a special part of life that the loneliness of writing doesn’t always give you, something I’ll discuss more in my next Misunderstood Writing Advice Piece.
Thank you from the bottom of my thanking parts to Wife.Blah for the nomination. You should definitely check out her site- it is full of great content. I was not expecting or even thinking I would get this recognition (in fact I would have missed it if I didn’t check my traffic!), but I will always appreciate it more than I can say.
At present, I’m moving and getting ready for finals week- so I’ve been quite off with my posting and reading habits. It would be cool to make my deadlines, but I can’t always when life is there, so like Douglas Adams, I sit back and watch them roll right on by.
Maybe I should talk about what all this is about.
The Sunshine Blogger Award is a social recognition tag fight for bloggers that try to inspire positivity and joy.
I know what you’re thinking: Why the hell did I get this, especially after the whole stress post and those short stories about terrible things.. Or your thinking: He’s not a blogger! Burn him!
Well- too bad.
The Rules are pretty simple: say thanks, answer 11 questions, ask and nominate 11 questions for 11 bloggers.
So I suppose I best hop to it then…
