Many of you might be regular readers of my stories. To you I must apologize, as you haven’t heard from me in over a month. This was not something I ever intended to happen. You see, I’ve gone back to school in a strange last-minute decision. I got caught up in the student fever, looking for an avenue back into my real work: writing stories for people like you, helping writers get back to writing, and most of all- just being me.
I have finally found that equilibrium. You will start to see regular uploads again, real stories and even updates on publication submissions and the like. Alexander Bjørn is back! And despite what you think I’ve still stuck with most of my new year’s resolutions!
What have I been up to? Well aside from being a student, I’ve volunteered as a Basic Literacy and ESL tutor, and a crisis hotline phone answerer-guy in my local community. On top of this I’ve been delivering a lot of Asian Fusion and learning a thing or two from schoolwork. I’ve been a busy little bee, but I couldn’t stay away from my baby forever.
You may look at me and ask, well now that you’re kind of back, what are you going to do? Well I’m glad you asked. Even if you didn’t ask at all.
Now that I’m a student again, I’ve revamped my everything and opened up a few new doors that I hadn’t previously thought about. Now, as a Science Fiction/ Futurist writer, you should be expecting a lot of the same- weekly stories, regular blogs and videos, doodles – largely things you’re used to.
But now you’re going to see an academic edge to some of my work. I plan to add some interesting and more credible content that I feel many of my more eclectic readers may be into. This will require a bit of business planning and some extra jargon you don’t need to care about. Either way, you will have my daily dedication from now on. I may be able to establish a posting schedule which you may find on my social media in the coming months, but mostly you’ll see me when you see me.
My books are getting regular attention and I’ve made a commitment to submit some stories for publication monthly. So don’t fret, you’ll get plenty of ABKstories to go around!
As always- keep reading, keep writing, and keep living, my friends.
